Tired of the barrage of bad press and concerned about adoption issues in the big picture, some well-known Hollywood Stars are banding together to take the media by the horns.
Headed by internationally adoptive parents Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Madonna, the Star Power Adoption Network will be launched today in a small ceremony at a New Orleans playground built with seed funds from the organization.

Believe it or not ... and regular readers will be surprised ... I've come across something that has me stretching out my quads in preparation for jumping on the celeb-adoption-bashing bandwagon.
Yep. After all my on-and-oning about press distortion of situations, truth-bending (or ignoring), and sticking noses where they don't belong, I am now ready to believe what I read and voice a very strong opinion on the rumored adoption plans of a known Hollywood-type celeb of some status, albeit minor.

Before this goes much further ... before the fury mounts, before the froth starts appearing at the corners of a greater number of mouths, before ever more hanks of hair are ripped from roots in over-indulgent bouts of angst, before impassioned slinging of mud
