In what appears to be reaction to focus on female infanticide in India, the government has announced that it will be building orphanages for the excess of unwanted baby girls.

I love stories about people taking action ... seeing problems, then setting their minds, hearts, brains and pocketbooks toward fixing situations that are not working, or not working as well as they could ... for the greater good.
