And now, on the lighter side ...

Korea's top fashion designer, Andre Kim, chose Angkor Wat as the setting for the launch of his 2007 collection.

Kim's "Fashion Fantasia: Angkor Wat" is part of The Angkor-Gyeongju World Culture Expo 2006 that kicked off last month and runs through January 9 next year.

The 50-day event titled "Ancient Future: The Myths of the Orient" features exhibitions on Khmer civilisation (1181-1215) and the Silla culture (B.C. 57-935) which provides insight into the culture of Korea and Cambodia.

The two Korean Wave stars, actors Kim Rae-won and Kim Hee-sun, are to take the stage with other models showcasing a total of 187 pieces during the three-hour show.

Set against the majestic backdrop of early 12th-century Angkor Wat, a temple that represents the achievements of the Khmer Empire at its zenith, Kim is to present the splendour of 5,000 years of history of Korea and also revives the achievements of the Khmer Empire of ancient Cambodia.

This sounds so cool, as far as fashion shows go ... not normally my cup of tea.

And neither is this, but I'm still having to hold myself back from one big, "You go, Girl!"

Seems in a brothel in Battambang province a 24-year-old prostitute stabbed her 25-year-old client ...twice ... because he refused to wear a condom.

Koam Roeuy said Suon Da had paid Sa Rida 5,000 riel (US$1.20; euro0.90) to have sex with her. But after Suon Da repeatedly refused to wear a condom, Sa Rida gave up and left the room.

Suon Da chased after her, demanding his money back and slapping the woman, Koam Roeuy said. Sa Rida responded by stabbing Suon Da in the stomach, he said.

Of course, she's in jail now waiting to learn what, if any, charges will be leveled against her while the horney slimeball is being treated at the local hospital.

And on that note, I'm done.
