As readers know, I live in a land of
simple pleasures and low-tech toys. The kids' beach bag carries a ball, a couple of empty formula tins

(with the free scoops that come with), floaties and some cookie cutters. Fun is had.
When not beaching it we still have very little use for batteries ... a box of band-aids is a
costume shop and a cloth diaper makes a super hero.
Today, clothes pins (or pegs, as they're called here) are the plaything du jour. They started out attached to the ends of Sam's long and rather elegant digits. Ta da! Edward Clothespeghands!

A short while later he branched out, and I took the photo. He seems to think a head of wooden, spring-loaded dreadlocks make him look like Tarzan.

Hmmmmm.
Okay ...
Now, there's been talk on some groups about sharing too much info about kids via blogs.
Adoption stories are popular, and many families like to tell theirs. Prospective adopters learn a lot from reading them, plus get a good peek at the light at the end of the very long tunnel they must pass through before becoming parents.
Blogs, both the personal sort and the professional examples like this one, put information on the internet that could possibly be there forever. Are those of us posting stepping on our kids' toes by telling more about them, and about us, than we should?
I'm of about ten minds on this issue and would love to hear opinions from any who have one ... or two.
In the meantime, I post silly photos of Sam because I'm his mom ... and I can.
Isn't he adorable?
Will he someday be angry that I've shared this with you? Once again ... hmmmm ...
