I have no way of knowing how people come to my blog -- by bookmark, direct link or from the
"what's new" portal of adoptionblogs.com. This site has expanded a lot recently with the addition of bloggers and new categories. There's so much info there now that I'm having a tough time keeping up, and just keeping track of where my own posts ... both here and on the
Older Parent Blog ... sit in relation to other new posts is a more comprehensive process than it was just a few weeks ago.
If you've not taken the time to look around a bit, especially recently, you're missing a lot of country-specific information from bloggers who've been-there-done-that in a whole bunch of places.
Mo writes about
Korean adoption from simultaneous perspectives of both an adoptee from Korea and an adoptive parent of a Korean-born child.
SPONSOR
Mary, aka Owlhaven, shares a great deal of information on adopting from
Ethiopia.
Moose has been writing about
Guatemalan adoption here since the beginning of these blogs, as has Grant on
China.
Kazakhstan now has Cyndi, new to the team and doing a great job, while
Russian adoption is now covered by Rhonda instead of Adrienne who's gone off to write books and have other adventures.
Angela takes care of information about adoptions from
Ukraine.
Holly Richardson is now covering
Africa in both the general and specific sense.
Wendy B. has been telling us about adoption from
Haiti for a couple of weeks, now, and Rebecca is just warming up to give the inside scoop on the program in recently reopened
Viet Nam.
There are, of course, loads of other categories not dealing directly with international adopting, but very helpful on many levels.
