Informed Adoptions is an organization set up to help members of the international adoption community educate themselves and share resources on a wide range of topics. They offer, "on-line education, resources, and training for parents, guides, social workers, etc. on the various issues, such as signs of grieving, post institutional behavior and other unexpected issues that may arise during the adoption process," and more.
This is how the website describes their vision:
Our vision is of an educated and aware International adoption community in which prospective and new parents have the resources and knowledge available to address any issues that may arise while completing the adoption process.

The
Center for Khmer Studies is offering five Junior Fellowship awards for their summer program in Cambodia this year.
The program runs from July 1, 2007 through August 31, 2007. Junior fellows will join Cambodian students in Siem Reap, near the historical complex of Angkor, where CKS has its headquarters, library and conference facilities. The objective of the program is to introduce undergraduate students to Cambodia and Khmer civilization, history and culture with the hopes of encouraging future scholarship in the Mekong region.
The awards include: round trip airfare from the United States to Cambodia, travel insurance (required), food, local transportation and books. CKS covers accommodation, tuition and field/study trips.
